The Oregon Invest- ment Board (OIB) is responsible for the administration of the Oregon Develop- ment Plan within Multnomah, Hood River and Wasco counties in Oregon and is charged with policy direction, funding criteria and funding decisions for economic develop- ment loans and grants. Each mem- ber county is al- lowed two citizen members to serve on the OIB to repre- sent their counties interest. Final ap- pointment to the OIB is made by the Gov- ernor of Oregon. Hood River County has one vacancy, terms are 3 years and applicant must reside in Hood River County. Bids shall be clearly marked BID for “22nd Street Sanitary Sewer Pro- ject 630” and shall show the date and time of bid opening. The work to be done under this contract consists of installing approximately 775’ of 8” PVC sanitary sewer line. The work will also include the installation of 5 new sanitary sewer man- holes along 22nd St. and 1 new sanitary sewer manhole west of 22nd St. along May St. Prequalification is not required; howev- er, if not currently pre-qualified to work in the City of Hood River, the applicant must submit with its Bid, a completed City of Hood River Prequalification form. This Board reviews and provides recommen- dations as to how the county could control noxious weeds within the county limits. The Board will minimally meet annually but could be as much as 3 times a year. The bylaws of the Board call for representa- tives from each of the County Commis- sioner Districts. Currently we need to fill three (3) posi- tions, representa- tives from Districts 2, 3 and 4.
