MENT BOARD
The Oregon In-
vestment Board is a
seven member vol-
unteer board ap-
pointed by the Gov-
ernor of Oregon.
The Oregon Invest-
ment Board (OIB) is
responsible for the
administration of the
Oregon
Develop-
ment Plan within
Multnomah, Hood
River and Wasco
counties in Oregon
and is charged with
policy
direction,
funding criteria and
funding decisions for
economic develop-
ment loans and
grants. Each mem-
ber county is al-
lowed two citizen
members to serve
on the OIB to repre-
sent their counties
interest. Final ap-
pointment to the OIB
is made by the Gov-
ernor of Oregon.
Hood River County
has one vacancy,
terms are 3 years
and applicant must
reside in Hood River
County. If you are in-

sanitary manhole
35BD07 at the inter-
section of June St.
and 22nd St. extend-
ing north along 22nd
St. approximately
640’ to an existing 8”
concrete sanitary
sewer line at the in-
tersection
of
Prospect Ave. and
22nd St. The project
will also continue
west along May St.
from the new sani-
tary sewer line at
22nd St. and May St.
approximately 135’
to an existing 8” con-
crete sanitary sewer
line extending north.
The work to be done
under this contract
consists of installing
approximately 775’
of 8” PVC sanitary
sewer line. The work
will also include the
installation of 5 new
sanitary sewer man-
holes along 22nd St.
and 1 new sanitary
sewer manhole west
of 22nd St. along
May St.
Prequalification is
not required; howev-
er, if not currently
pre-qualified to work
in the City of Hood
River, the applicant
must submit with its
Bid, a completed
City of Hood River
Prequalification
form.
The work is fully
described in the
Contract
Docu-
ments, which may
be obtained or ex-
amined at Hood Riv-
er Public Works,

The Owner may
reject any Bid not in

ty is looking for vol-
unteers to serve on
the County Weed
Control Board. This
Board reviews and
provides recommen-
dations as to how
the county could
control
noxious
weeds within the
county limits. The
Board will minimally
meet annually but
could be as much as
3 times a year. The
bylaws of the Board
call for representa-
tives from each of
the County Commis-
sioner
Districts.
