RELIGION BRIEFS Bethany Free Lutheran First Lutheran Bethany Free Lutheran Church, 451 34th St., holds its annual Fall Festival at 4 p.m. Sunday. Del Palmer, pastor and director of World Missions for the Association of Free Lutheran Congrega- tions, is sharing about mis- sions work being done by the AFLC in various parts of the world. The program also includes special music and congregational singing. An offering is being received for the work of Betha- ny’s Women’s Missionary Federation. St. Mary, Star of the Sea The Feast of All Saints, a holy day of obligation, is Tuesday. The schedule is as follows: A Mass is at 8 a.m. at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1465 Grand Ave., with a recon- ciliation to follow; a noon Mass is at the St Francis De Sales Mission, 867 Fifth Ave. in Hammond; and there is also a Mass at 7 p.m. at Star of the Sea. Warrenton United Methodist WARRENTON — All voices and all singers are welcome to help celebrate the fifth Sunday of the Month on Sunday at Warrenton United Methodist Church, 679 S.W. Main Ave. The service starts at 10 a.m., but coffee is on at 9:30 a.m. The annual Holiday Bazaar and Luncheon is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 5. Lunch service is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event also features Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday dec- orations, crafts, a homemade food table and more. This year, everyone who attends will be eligible to receive the “blessing blan- ket,” donated by member of the congregation. Being present is not required to receive this shared blessing.
