its annual Fall Festival at 4
p.m. Sunday. Del Palmer,
pastor and director of World
Missions for the Association
of Free Lutheran Congrega-
tions, is sharing about mis-
sions work being done by
the AFLC in various parts of
the world.
The
program

includes special music and
congregational singing. An
offering is being received
for the work of Betha-
ny’s Women’s Missionary
Federation. Following the
program, food is served,
including sandwiches, Scan-
dinavian specialities and

Star of the Sea
The Feast of All Saints,
a holy day of obligation, is
Tuesday. The schedule is
as follows: A Mass is at 8
a.m. at St. Mary, Star of the

ciliation to follow; a noon
Mass is at the St Francis
De Sales Mission, 867 Fifth
Ave. in Hammond; and there
is also a Mass at 7 p.m. at
Star of the Sea.
The parish is renovat-
ing the entrance of the
school auditorium, includ-
ing a display of Star of the
Sea School memorabilia and
the pictures of each of the
graduating classes. Help is
needed to locate six graduat-
ing class pictures: 1971 and
1972, grade 6; and 1978,
1979, 1980 and 1984, grade

The Mount Angel semi-
narians are celebrating the
13th anniversary of the Sem-
inary Benefit Dinner Nov. 6
at the Oregon Convention
