The groom is the son of Craig L. and Carrie L. Adams of Asto- ria, grandson of Charles and Ingrid Bates of North Bend and Mel and Gloria Hanson of Mil- waukie, and great-grandson of Joyce Harrison of Milwaukie. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Del Towell of the Church of Christ in Prineville performed the ceremony. Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Shayna Olson of Hammond. Bridesmaids were McKenzie Warren, Nicole Israel, Haley Larson and Cait- lyn Saley. Flower girl was Jade Hull of Sandy. Best man was Kai Ahola of Astoria. The bride graduated from Astoria High School in 2011, and completed training at Kenneth and Chelsey Adams Tongue Point Job Corps as a dental assistant. She currently works for Alexandroff General Dentistry in Astoria, where she is an expanded functions den- tal assistant. The groom is a 2006 gradu- ate of Astoria High School. He completed training at the Voca- tional Outside Line Training Academy (VOLTA) at Camp Rilea in Warrenton, then went on to complete his apprentice- ship and is now a journeyman lineman. He works throughout Oregon and Washington. A reception was held, also at the couple’s home, with music provided by DJ Keith Warren of Astoria. The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico. Requests should align with the club’s mission to cul- tivate the knowledge and love of gardening through educa- tional programs and activities, to aid in the protection of the environment, and to support public service through gar- den-related organizations and volunteer opportunities. The new pastor grew up at Gateway, previously known as Philadel- phia Church, and attended North Coast Chris- tian School and Astoria High School. Following high school, he served one year as a Gateway intern, working with the youth group of over 100 children, and as a student teacher at North Coast Christian School. He then did a two-year intensive internship at Bethany World Prayer Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After graduating from Bethany, he returned to Clatsop County and helped his father at Gate- way.
