Antique & Vintage Jewelry Ap- Matt Love, a promi- nent Oregon author and high school teacher, was arrested today on charges of luring a minor and offi cial miscon- duct after being indicted by a grand jury. The investigation came after police received a report that Love, 52, used an “explicit verbal description or narrative account of sexual conduct” to induce a former student to engage in sex. Love, according to police, was placed on administrative leave by the Astoria School District in May. Police said the minor involved in the case was not a former student in Astoria and does not live in the area. Police asked that any cur- rent or former students who believe Love engaged in sim- ilar conduct or behavior with others contact Astoria Police Detective Thomas Litwin. They moved back to Astoria fi ve years ago to be closer to family at his side on Friday, July 15, 2016. He was born on May 13, 1926, to John H. family.
