The District passed another Ive year local option levy which will continue to assist with general operating expenses; however, the District still anticipates continued compression loss in this revenue area. REQUIREMENTS: The District's budget represents an increase over actual 2015-2016. StafIng increases include: three 1.0 FTE licensed positions; a .50 FTE District Curriculum Director; a .40 FTE technology support position; and a .50 FTE superintendent-emeritus position. Allocations have been made for a Math curriculum adoption. General fund transfers will be allocated to ASPIRE and Food Service special revenue funds. Major maintenance projects include new Jooring at Gearhart Elementary School; a new Broadway roof pack; parking lot renovations at the Bus Garage; internal walls and doors at the Heights; playground safety measures at the Heights; track resurfacing at Seaside High School; an ADA compliant restroom with shower at Seaside High School; and, rerooIng of a section of the Seaside High School gym area.
