The North Coast and Coast 5ange remains under a À ood watch through Wednesday af- ternoon, the National Weather 6ervice warned. 5esidents of Astoria, Can- non Beach, Tillamook, Ne- tarts, Paci¿ c City, 9ernonia, Jewell, 6unset 6ummit, Lee’s Camp and Trask should be on alert and use caution when traveling. Clatsop County Public Works Director Michael 6um- mers said county road crews were out all day Tuesday until about p.m. Crews responded to two landslides on Hamlet 5oad, south of U.6. Highway near (lsie. Last weekend a landslide blocked Lewis and Clark 5oad at milepost , which crews have cleared. Trees were reported down in multiple places in Olney, Brownsmead, Knappa and Westport. U.6. They can transport boulders and logs in a fast-moving soil and water slurry. People, structures and roads below steep slopes in canyons, and near the mouths of can- yons, may be at serious risk.
