Whatever could go wrong, did go wrong. And the Scappoose football team ²RUPRUHVSHFL¿FDOO\2ZHQ3DUVRQ — was there to take advantage. A close ball game at halftime (Scappoose 14, Astoria 7) turned into a second half blowout, as the Indians overcame multiple penalties (nine for 67 yards) to score a 47-13 win over the Fishermen. But it was Parson who will remem- ber this one a little more fondly than the rest of us.
