It got bad enough that the annual invitational was stopped after nine holes, which sent the seven teams home a little earlier than expected. Golfers battled rain, hail, wind and soggy conditions on the course before the decision was made to end the tournament at nine holes. The rain-shortened tourna- ment was won by Scappoose, ZKLFK ¿QLVKHG DKHDG RI WHDPV from Astoria, Banks, Molalla, Seaside, Tillamook and Valley Catholic.
