In 1961, s he gra du a ted w ith a degree in D a nc e a nd D ra m a from the U nivers ity of O regon, w here s he w on the dra m a depa rtm ent’s O u ts ta nding S tu dent A c tres s A w a rd three c ons ec u tive yea rs . Ja net L ee’s fa ther died in N orm a ndy in W orld W a r II; her m other w a s killed in a n a u to a c c ident in 1962. S he w a s briefly m a rried to P rof. H erbert W einberg, c u rrently of C olora do S prings , C O . Ja net L ee retired from L os A ngeles to S ea s ide in 2001, believing tha t the c lim a te w ou ld a llevia te the s ym ptom s of m u ltiple s c leros is , from w hic h s he ha d s u ffered for dec a des . She had just celebrated her zles, card playing, and crabbing along the Oregon 106th birthday. She was born on March 24, 1909, Coast.
