The attention of all citizens of Clacka mas county who wish to aid in the de velopment of our agricultural, mineral and manufacturing interest is called to the work of Oregon City board of trade through its special committee on exploit ation. .The committee wants to obtain samples of every mineral found in the county. Of the clays the samples should Vie large enough so that working tests can L made to ascertain their value. The various- miner! specimens should be plainly labeled with the name of the 4lonor, the location from where taken, He apparent quantity in sight and any other data relative to their value. The board of trade would also like to have samples of the various kinds of 'manufactured articles of every class and description. . 'For the agricultural exhibit farmers -sfcpuld commence preparing now. ' They want to maintain a permanent exhibit here in Oregon City and also mean to feave the beat county exhibit at the Industrial fair in Portland next fall. Tber also contemplate showing the exhibit East at points where they think tbe greatest good will accrue to Clacka mas county. .' This is a matter in which all citizens J this county are directly interested and each one should endeavor to further the cause and insure the success of the undertaking. The members of the committee are: Charles Menerve, E. E. Charman, J. O. Pilsbury, J. A. Thayer and J. Ff Clark, and articles tor the exhibit can be left with any one of them or at the E.nteb prise office.
