Mrs Geflin is Saved Trom Operating Cable Brother and Sister Both Relieved by Remedy Available to Anyone In her gratitude for a remedy that saved her from the possible necessity for an operation, Mrs. Carrie Heflin, of Coats, Kans., writes: "Had it not been for Fruitola and Traxo I might have been on the operating table by now. It relieved me of at least one hundred and fifty gall stones. It surely does work wonders. My brother also had suffered for years and has been greatly benefitted by Fruitola and Traxo." Fruitola and Traxo are compound ed from the original Edsall formulas at the Pinus laboratories in Monti cello, 111., and can be purchased in Oregon City, Portland, Canby and Hubbard at the Huntley Bros. Com pany's drug stores; a doctor's pre scription is not necesary. Fruitola is a pure fruit oil that acts as an intestinal lubricant and disintegrates the hardened particles that cause so much suffering, discharging the accumulated waste to the sufferer's intense relief. One dose is usually sufficient to indi cate its efficacy. Traxo is a tonic-alterative that is most effective to rebuild and restore the weakened, rundown system. A booklet of special interest to those who suffer from stomach trouble can be obtained by writing to the Pinus Laboratories, Monticello, Illinois. SL ittt4msmx ii tiSiii;,! aiiii'i itod MRS. The modern Romance of Electricity puts the fables of antiquity into the shade, performing greater miracles as part of the every day work of the world. You know that Electricity lights your home -heats or cools it as you WILL -cleans the modern home. But do you know that Electricity can actually SOLVE the big servant problem for YOU in your own home by CHEAPLY, quickly and cleanly doing your cooking, washing, ironing and sewing? Aladdin's lamp is gone -but the GENTLE PUSH OF A BUTTON or the twitch of a switch today, performs more miracles than his friend the GENIE ever dreamed about. Electricity is universal service - the service of a thousand unseen hands - tireless, adaptable, alert. Columbus, Ohio I'EACE TERMS REFUSED End of War Impossible Without Com plete Guarantee of Peace Premier Lloyd-George said in the house of commons Tuesday that it was felt that they should know be fore entering on negotiations that Germany was prepared to accede to the only terms possible whereon it was possible for peace to be obtained and maintained in Europe. The speech of Chancellor von Beth- mann-Hollweg before the German reichstag was characterized by Mr. Lloyd-George as constituting in sub stance a denial of the only terms upon which peace, was possible. Ihe premier said that without rep aration peace would be impossible. Mr. Lloyd-George said there were proposals for peace. To enter into proposals of which they had no knowledge was to put their heads longed for it, the premier added, the central powers' note and the speech preceding it afforded small encour agement and hope for an honorable and lastirtg peace. Mr. Lloyd-George said: "Our an swer will be given in full accord with our allies. Each of the allies has separately and independently arrived at the same conclusion. I am glad of the first answer given by France and Russia." He also said the allies would insist that the only end of the war must be a complete guarantee against Prus sian militarism disturbing the peace of Europe.
