An Ordinance permitting the Haw- ley Pulp & Paper Company to con struct and maintain a bridge across Main Street, . Oregon City does ordain as follows: Section 1. The Hawley Pulp and Paper Company, is hereby granted the right and privilege to construct and maintain for the term of twenty years from the date of the passage of this ordinance an over-head bridge across Main Street on the Mill Reserve from its ware house on the Easterly side of Main Street over to its mill on the Westerly side of said street. Section 2. The said structure shall be not less than 21 feet in the clear above the grade of said street and so supports shall be made within the space of the present road way and shall be constructed in a workman like manner and be kept painted and clean, and said Hawley Pulp and Pa per Company shall save the City and any of its officers harmless on ac count of any injury to any person or property growing out of the construc tion or maintenance of said bridge.
