News reached this city Saturday night that the sawmill belonging to Dix BroB., near Canby, was totally destroyed by fire. The fire had made such a headway when ifirst discov ered that it was impossible for the owners of the mill to conquer the vild flames so they had to give up and let the fire take its course.
