Aldy Tycer has filed her petition for
letters of administration in the estate
of Leonard Tycer, deceased. Leonard
Tycer was ' killod by a moving
train while crossing the Northern Pa
ciiio terminal yards in Portland iu
May, 11)04. He is survived by his
wife, Remt E. Tycer, aged 13 years,

Sawmill Burned.
News reached this city Saturday
night that the sawmill belonging to
Dix BroB., near Canby, was totally
destroyed by fire. The fire had made
such a headway when ifirst discov
ered that it was impossible for the
owners of the mill to conquer the
vild flames so they had to give up
and let the fire take its course. It is
estimated that the loss will approxi
mate 13000. i
