Mr. Sheltorv, of Monroe & Shel ton, of Portland, dealers in dairy machinery, wan in Prineville the first of the week Mr. Shellon came here at the inntance of Mr. Skinner to look over the dairy field. Mr. Shelton says that he does not know of a better place for a creamery. We have the market, the alfalfa and the milch cows, and in his estimation all the other elements necessary for the running of a profitable creamery. In fact, he snys, that fine horses are a luxury for the rich. A few years ago anybody could have u good team but now a buyer comes along and if money is a con sideration the team changes owner ship.
