The Celtics placed third as a team at the meet and will be sending nine ath- letes to the state tournament next week. Dominik O’Farrell (182), Donovin Garcia (132), and Gulian Campos (220) finished sixth; Jordan Orr (126), Joey Barros (106), Hunter Ruberto (170), and Anthony Cruz Lopez (285) finished fifth; Josh Friesen (145), Luis Cortez (195), Layne Runyan (285), and Izzy Campa (120) finished fourth; Aldo Villalvazo (220), Damian Hernandez (120), and Max Blanco (106) finished third; and Jonathan Canchola (138) finished in second place. Wrestlers that finished in the top four will advance to the state tournament -- Joey Barrows also qualified for the tournament despite placing fifth. The state tournament will be June 25-26 at Newberg High School. No spectators will be allowed, but fans can catch all the action on the trackwrestling.com live stream.
