Vaccinations are the strongest weapon in the arsenal as the country and the world work to bring an end to the COVID-19 pandemic and protect those who are most vulnerable to serious ill- ness in the community. Many large pharmacy systems are beginning to receive COVID-19 vaccines from the federal government. Safeway, Bi-Mart, Costco, Fred Meyer, Rite Aid, Walgreens, and Walmart all have dedicated COVID-19 websites where vaccination appointments can be made. Kate Brown is encouraging all Oregon residents to get vaccinated and then talk with friends and relatives about the reasons behind their decision.
