PAGE A10, KEIZERTIMES, MARCH 20, 2020 Watch for COVI-19 symptoms The recent outbreak of the novel corona- virus, COVID-19, may cause fever, cough or diffi culty breathing. A majority of people who get the virus will have only mild symptoms. People at risk for more signifi cant symptoms includes the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, lung KT on vacation disease and/or weakened immune systems. If you suspect a COVID-19 infection, call your doctor before showing up at the doctor’s offi ce, urgent care or emergency room. Salem Health is offering drive-up screenings, but a doctor’s referral and appointment are still nec- essary.
