JULY 12, 2019, KEIZERTIMES, PAGE A11 McNary proves to be no match for West Albany BY MATT RAWLINGS Of the Keizertimes McNary’s D2 summer league squad couldn’t keep up with West Albany as the Celt- ics fell 8-0 to the Bulldogs on Wednesday July, 3. Griffen Hubbard got off to a rough start on the mound for the Celtics giving up three walks and an RBI single in the bottom of the fi rst as West Al- bany jumped out to a 3-0 lead. Hubbard seemed to calm down in the bottom of the second as he was able to get through the frame with rela- tive ease. But with two outs in the bottom of the third, Hubbard surrendered a two-run homer as West Albany upped their lead to 5-0. Earlier in the frame, Eben Mayer was the fi rst Celtic to reach scoring position. Af- ter reaching on an error, he advanced to third on a wild pickoff attempt from the West Albany pitcher. But Mayer was left stranded on third as Easton Hughes fl ew out to left fi eld to end the threat. Bo Bielby had the fi rst hit for McNary in the top of the fourth when his pop-up to shallow center fi eld ended up falling for a base-knock. Bielby stole second moments later, but got too greedy and was thrown out trying to steal third later in the inning. Bielby then replaced Hub- bard on the hill in the bottom of the fourth. He retired the side in order in his fi rst inning of work, but Bielby gave up a pair of RBI hits in the bottom of the fi fth, plus another run in the bottom of the sixth, al- lowing West Albany to extend their lead to 8-0. The only time McNary had multiple runners reach base in an inning was in the top of the seventh. Hubbard reached on an error from the West Albany fi rst baseman. After a pair of fl y-outs, Logan Martinez singled to right fi eld to keep the game going. Hubbard, however, got caught between second and third on a base-running error and was tagged out to end the game. McNary’s D2 squad goes on the road on Monday, July 15 to take on Tualatin at 6 p.m. ATHLETE BRYCE TUCKER Right-handed pitcher, Salem-Keizer Volcanoes Bryce Tucker, who had his third save Monday, July 8, is the Athlete of the Week. This 22-year-old lefthander from Orlando, Florida, who also has won one game with no losses as of Tuesday, June 9, has an Earned Run Average of 1.42. Tucker pitched for Central Florida and was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 14th round of 2018. He is in his fi rst season of professional baseball. KEIZERTIMES/Matt Rawlings McNary fi rst baseman Erik Sorenson hits a hard grounder up the middle in the Celtics 8-0 loss to West Albany on Wednesday, July 3. public notices TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF SALE S&S 18-124508 TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF SALE A default has occurred under the terms of a trust deed made by Anabel Estrada Gutierrez and Oscar Guerrero Jr., whose address is 422 Willamette Street, Woodburn, OR 97071 as grantor to First American Title, as Trustee, in favor of Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., acting solely as nominee for Pacifi c Residential Mortgage, LLC, its Successors and Assigns, as named Benefi ciary, dated April 29, 2014, recorded April 30, 2014, in the mortgage records of Marion County, Oregon, as Instrument No. 2014 00014046, PennyMac Loan Services, LLC is the present Benefi ciary as defi ned by ORS 86.705(2), as covering the following described real property: as covering the following described real property: LOT 189, MONTEBELLO 3, IN THE CITY OF WOODBURN, MARION COUNTY, OREGON.
