Newspaper Page TextPAGE A14, KEIZERTIMES, JULY 5, 2019 Williams shines at WOU Former McNary standout Jonathan Williams wrapped up a stellar freshman sea- son for the Western Oregon University Lacrosse team over the spring. With 59 goals and 10 as- sists, Williams led the Wolves in scoring and was a fi rst- team all-Collegiate Lacrosse Association performer and was also recognized as a third-team All-American midfi elder as he helped the Wolves to a 9-4 record. Williams scored a goal in all 12 games he appeared in this season. His best performance came in a 20-10 victory against Cal State San Marcos where he scored eight goals and had three assists. Wil- liams also had seven goals and two assists in a 24-3 win over Pacifi c Lutheran. Williams is currently pur- suing a degree in excercise science.
