Offi cers responded to a complaint in the 700 block of Plymouth Drive North- east about 5:45 p.m. The caller identifi ed a man who was not supposed to be on the prop- erty. After separating all of the parties, who were located in- side an apartment at the ad- dress, the investigating offi cers learned the individual had ha- rassed his mother prior to the offi cer’s arrival. The mother decided to pursue charges and a scuffl e erupted as they tried to take the man into custody. He was eventually placed in handcuffs and taken to the Marion County Correctional Facility. Jonathan Daniel Morgan, 49, of Salem, was charged with harassment and resisting arrest. On Monday, Oct. 24, ar- rested a 54-year-old Keizer man who allegedly brandished a knife during a domestic dis- pute. Police responded to a re- port of a man and woman roommates arguing in the 3800 block of Partridge Lane Northeast around 11 p.m. Upon investigation, offi cers learned that the man had re- turned home from work and found the female and her 24- year old son had been smoking marijuana all day and she was stoned. The woman reported the man had grabbed a knife dur- ing their dispute and threat- ened her with it. George Diaz was arrested without incident and taken to the Marion County Correc- tional Facility where he was charged with domestic men- acing.
