Ten booths manned by local children were part of the launch for Lemonade Day 2016 held at the Salem Convention Center on March 10. The operators of the booths were conducting market research for just the right recipe that would sell on the yellow day on Sunday, May 1 throughout Keizer and Salem. Lemonade Day, a national organization, teaches grade- and middle-school students how to be an entrepreneur by planning and managing a lemonade stand alone or with their friends. The fi rst Lemonade Day was held here in 2014.
