A fool i& never so foolish but that he can teach another fool something. If you wish to be, happy you must at first strive to make other people happy. Always bear in mind that you are not the only one in the house, and take up less room and make less noise. Do not hold your head up too high you may stub your toe, and not too low you may bump your head. Do not go around with your head down, or your hands in your pockets, people will take you for a "scrub," and their guess will not be bad. RATINGS IN FINAL TEST The four highest examination ratings in the 4th grade are as follows: 4th A.' Mary Gibeau 98. Rosetta Peco 97, Hat tie Zadlath 96. Olive Inman 95. 4th B. Martha Andy 98, Avert Tom 93, Grace Beaver 93, May Henkel 93. The throe receiving the highest aver ages in the Fifth A Class are: Laura Harnden 97 2-9, Matilda John 90 2-3, and Hazel Fer.is 90 7-24 per cent. The highest averages in the 6th grade .were made bv the following pupils: Jrin French, 94 5-7; Caroline Ferris,9l 6-7; May Mercier, 9I 5-7; Henry Nelson 9I 5-7. . The four highest averages in the 7th grade were made by the following pu pils: Calvin Darnell 97 7-8;. Fred Lewis, 96 4-8; Lulin Brewer, 94 6-8. Billet Lo 1 ert, 94 3-8. Those receiving highest standing in the 8th grade are; Class A. Philip rora han 97, Henry DJlesirom 97, Lizzie Fra zier 94, Robert Cameron 93. Ciass H. Lizzie Frazier 94, Alfred Lane 92, Til lie Souvigner 92, John Sulky 90. After an illness of only a few days in the hospital and though receiving the best of care and medical attention from the nurse and physician Oscar Bowie died of peritonitis last Friday morning. He was a nice quiet and obedient young man who came with the party of pupil from Del Norte County,Cal. last winter. He was learning carpentry and was getting along nicely in school and in his trade when taken ill. The funeral service on Saturday were conducted by Rev. Burdett.
