you may stub your toe, and not too
low you may bump your head.

down, or your hands in your pockets,
people will take you for a "scrub," and
their guess will not be bad.

After an illness of only a few days in
the hospital and though receiving the
best of care and medical attention from
the nurse and physician Oscar Bowie
died of peritonitis last Friday morning.
He was a nice quiet and obedient young
man who came with the party of pupil
from Del Norte County,Cal. last winter.
He was learning carpentry and was
getting along nicely in school and in his
trade when taken ill. The funeral service
on Saturday were conducted by Rev.
Burdett.
