Who Will Care for the Caregiver? By Jeannette Cornell Who will care for the caregiver When the caregiver at last needs care? Lord knows they don't do it for money, The State claims its'budget's too low; Who will bathe, clothe and feed her, Some say that it must be rewarding, Brush her teeth, clip her nails, comb her hair? Just try it if you want to know; Who will care for the caregiver, When she's old and infirm and alone? So be kind when confronting a caregiver, Remember they are people too! Will any be there to remember, How dependably she came to their home? Who will take care of the caregiver? I fear that I hadn't a clue... They are, and with rare exception, Quite faithful in all that they do; Until I joined the Union and Found out just how much we can do! And with little concern for their person, They are solely devoted to you! Supporting Each Other and Stronger Together!
