Celebrating our 2007 Accomplishments
A New Homecare Contract with an
additional $4 million needed to fund pay raises,
fully paid premiums for health/dental/vision 3
care, cash out on paid time off plus legislation to
guarantee workers compensation coverage.
Child care workers won $33 million to
cover their first contract with the first wage
increase they've seen in ten years'and a decrease,
in Child Care co-pays for low-income families.
Nursing Home workers won $3 million to
fund better staffing ratios and a contract With
living wage increases.
Adult Foster Care workers gained the
right to form a union and are just beginning
to bargain their first contract.
