Oregon's Prescription Drug Program The best drug program that nobody knows about. SEIU Local 5.03 helped expand thisprogram, ayear ago through legislative action and a ballot measure, but it still remains underutilized and under-promoted. Having difficulty paying for prescription : drugs? Oregon's Prescription Drug Program can help provide discounts of as much as 60% for any Oregon resident who is uninsured or'lacks full coverage for prescription drugs. That includes people covered by Medicare Part D, which has some gaps. If you are covered by HUBB insurance or another private insurance plan, this program probably will not save yoiji any money because you already get a discounted price through the co-pay. What Happened with Faxing Vouchers? The real story. Based on a Secretary of State audit last year, DHS/ SPD can no longer accept vouchers that you fax in personally because the signatures cannot be authenticated. It had nothing to do with bargaining or SEIU. However, you can turn in your voucher to the nearest DHS office, even if it is not an SPD or AAA office. They will fax it in for you. This isn't the best solution, but we hope it will help make this change more manageable. For more information or to enroll: Call 800-913-4146 (English or Spanish) or go online at www.opdp.org.
