CAPITOL CHAPTER No. 19 After benefitting by delivery of the goods at our last two meetings, the membership is beginning to properly appreciate the program-arranging abil ity of Esther Hilmer and the culinary and serving skill of Mrs. Perry, Vivian Hinkle, Mrs. Simpson, and Florence Ames. A kitchen doesn’t scare these charming and accomplished girls at all. From the marvelous success at pin ning the tail on the donkey, showing a surprising familiarity with a mule’s anatomy, it appears quite a few of the members must have cultivated corn in old Missouri with "Pop” Harland and President Truman. Our regular meeting is now the 3rd Thursday in the month and permanent meeting place, The Women’s Club. Nominations for 1946 officers were as follows: For President, Paul Gem- mell, E. A. Boyle, James Young; for Vice-President, E. A. Boyle, Esther Hilmer, C. V. Richardson; for Sec.- Treas., G. E. Hollowell.
