31 (Continued from page 29) Mr. Forrest Stewart, executive secre tary of the State Association, was pres ent and gave a very interesting talk on his work in the forming of chapters in Salem. Altogether, the meeting was very enlightening to members and vis itors present. Chapter No. 17 is going along very nicely and we look forward to the time when our membership will be greatly increased. R. F. Lockard and Miss Marjorie Price. The nominating committee consists of E. D. Lindburg, chairman, Miss Vi ola Schrenk, and George V. Nederman. The following nominations have been made by the committee: for president, D. B. Reavis, for vice president, Arthur W. Lamke, for secretary-treasurer, J. W. Neville. Election of officers will be held at the meeting on October 13. MARION CHAPTER No. 18 The next meeting of Marion Chap ter, and which will be its first since its organization, will be held in the audi torium of the Salem Chamber of Com merce, Friday evening, October 13 th. Reports will be received from the rules and resolutions committee and from a committee appointed to make nominations for officers for the com ing year. The rules and resolutions committee has prepared and will submit a set of by-laws for the guidance of the chap ter. The constitution which was adopt ed at the first meeting of the chapter is that of the state organization. Marion chapter starts out with a membership of 36 of which 14 are women, all of whom are employed in the departments located in the state office building.
