The public and professionals from all agencies in the county are invited to attend. CSD, which had been co-located with Adult and Family Services Division at 105 S. 3rd St. in St. Helens since its inception as a separate agency in 1971, moved into its new facilities, which formerly housed the Oregon Employment Division at 202 Sykes Road, on October 1. Also to be observed on November 6, in connection with the open house, will be the 10th Anniversary of CSD as a separate agency within the Department of Human Resources. The anniversary celebration, which was observed throughout the State by most CSD offices in July, was delayed because of the impending move of the Columbia Branch Office. The special guest for the Open House will be R. Karen Roach, Administrator of the Oregon Children’s Services Division in Salem. Portland Community College’s Consumer Education Mobile Classroom will be teaching convenient classes.
