Beach, in said county and said

MISSIONARY TO THE DEAF
The Rev. Theodore DeLaney
Lutheran Missionary to the Deaf,
of San Francisco, California,
was the Mission Sunday speak­
e r at Faith Lutheran Church last
Sunday.
Pastor De Laney reported how
the deaf learned to hear and how
Christians are teaching the deaf
to hear the word of God.
He gave a demonstration of the
sign language which he and 38
other full time m issionaries to
the deaf of the Lutheran Church
Missouri S y n o d use to reach
thousands of deaf throughout the
country.
