A f t e r the reg u la r b usiness se ssio n M r. Gene Allison in tro duced the faculty m em b ers who were seated in the audience. As each m em ber was introduced he o r she walked to a table behind the o ffic e rs. When Mr. Allison had com pleted the introductions 45 faculty m em bers stood behind the tab le. T here rem ained seated in the audience, after faculty fam ilies w ere introduced, few, if any, m ore people than were standing. In a com m unity w h e r e the school situation is so c ritic a l and opinion regarding sam e so high, u > 04» ra th e r odd that m ore ot| the p are n ts of the 1080 vitally concerned pupils do not take a m ore active p a rt in school funct ions . The handful of p are n ts w ho attended Thursday w ere pleased to be "set stra ig h t" on ru m o rs concerning futher school deve I - i. en ts. 1'his sam e handful attem p t ed to welcome the faculty, new] and retu rn in g m e m b ers, on b e half of all the p are n ts of the school] yo u n g sters.
