March 28, 1957 Closed Season On Burning Near A pril 1 m arks the beginning of th e closed season on burning in th e forested areas of the state coming under the jurisdiction of th e state and federal protective organizations, according to a state- m ent issued today by S tate For ester Dwight L. Phipps.
