T h at question, in one form or another, seems to be popping up at this time. So the state d ep artm en t of ag ri cu ltu re dairy chief, O. K Beals, gives the answ ers so everyone in terested may know At the same time, as you will see. he relates that milk produced in Oregon moves freely into each of the other states. This movement back and forth is due to the law of reciprocity w ritten into the Oregon milk code in 1951. U nder this reciprocal a- greem ent section of the law, the departm ent may en ter into an a- greem ent w ith other states to p er m it m ilk to cross state lines. The blood test. Oregon has not recog nized the ring test, w hich is ac cepted by W ashington and Idaho. California does not require either test for its dairy herds but does have a com pulsory calfhood vac cination program .
