Last y ear th ere w ere 418 and in 1955 th ere w ere four less, On a county by county basis the fatalities seemed to be about equally divided, the greatest in crease being in K lam ath county w here the ’56 toll was 31 and the year before was only 19. Curry county is charged w ith 2 highway deaths this past year w hile the y ear before there w ere 5. T illa mook had no traffic fatalities in ’55 but had 5 in ’56.
