At the December 1954 meeting ot the board ot Di lectors School District 17C, winch was a joint meeting with the budget Committee, over various items in the budget. D uring the course ot the joint meeting some mention was made about l ire Insurance on the New J I.gli School. O ne member ot the budget conunittee who is 111 tlu insurance business was present and was asked certain questions by directors ot the school board, there is no record o t the questions asked or answered in the minutes o t th e meeting, however, when the budget conunittee was excused the question about placing insurance was discussed and as a result .1 n otion was made, seconded and carried that the l ire Insurance on the new high school I k - given to Knox Insurance Agency. Mr. Knox is a incmlxfr of the budget committee. 1 bis same a; cut was favored with the “ KuilJers Risk” while the building is under construction.
