S he had been visiting in V ancouver, W ash in g ton before com ing here. Mr. and Mrs. W illiam Shipley a re th e proud p a re n ts of a nine past week. T hey will be joined in d a u g h te r born a t th e S easide H o sp ital on A ugust 1st. T hey have nam ed the little new com er J u lie K ath erin e. Mrs. R obert L udlum , h er son and a pal of his of S a n ta B a rb a ra have been at th e L udlum su m m er hom e on W heeler C reek for the past w eek. They will be joined in a few days by Mr. L udlum , who rem ain ed in S a n ta B a rb a ra w hile th e ir hom e w as being painted. M r an d Mrs. A lbert J.
