BEAVERS LOSE TWO SLUGFESTS By P E T E L E S M E IS T E R T he B rookings ball club ju st cannot seem to get h ittin g and good pitching at th e sam e tim e. T h is .past w eek-end at D rain they slam m ed out a to ta l of 26 hits good for IS runs, yet dropped both gam es by scores of 11 to S and 12 to 10.
