Juveniles Told To Watch Curfew C urfew law s in th e C ity of Brookings will be rigidly en fo rc ed. Chief of Police Bud Cross w arned this week. 1 he law provides th a t every juvenile under 18 y ea rs of age m ust be off the s tre e ts by 10:30 P. M., unless accom panied by th eir p aren ts o r by some o th e r responsible a d u lt . Chief Cross said th a t a w ave of vandalism in th is a re a could be d irectly a ttrib u te d to juve* niles who a re not observing the curfew, and he said th a t stern m easures will be ta k e n to e n force it . Grow th of po p u lation in this area, he said, is m aking law en forcem ent a la rg e r and la rg e r problem, and juveniles a re con trib u tin g to th e problem .
