LETTER TO EDITOR Lady Bowlers Conclude Season With Banquet It seem s th a t I re ad an item in a recent issue of th e P ilot w here som e sort of an appeal is being m ade for this com m unity to get behind a co n tem p lated “Scout B uilding” for th e use of th e boy AND girl scouts of th is com m un ity. It also seem s th a t it w as about tw o days o r so a f te r “ pitching m y teep ee’ in these p a rts (five years ago) th a t I first heal'd som e m en tion of a scout building. If th is is correct, then these kids have been holding th e sack for q u ite aw hile to use a popu la r colloqualism . O bviously, of this condition continues, som e of these kids w ill have scouted into th eir uniform s and scouted out of them still holding th e s a c - and y e t-- no “coons” . D evoting any tim e to this p ro ject on m y p a rt is sim ply out of th e question for th e present. If a com m ittee is not organized im m ed iately to get th e building s ta rte d - and com pleted, th en I will gladly offer som e su g g es tio n s to Mr. P a g e —M ike Page, th a t is, to sp ark th e pro ject.
