F OF O LIB R A R Y { :< On the Reef By BILL PHELPS ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ One of the nicest th in g s w hich have come out of this p re-elec tion fu ro r is the candidacy of Paul R onniger for Coroner. The reason it is so nice is th a t it m eans th a t P au l intends to stick around here for a t least four m ore years. Like everyone else here, w e’ve heard the ru m o rs th a t P aul planned to leave B rookings som e tim e soon . . . in fact, we w ere prone to believe them , because we knew th at people in Salem p re dicted th a t P aul w ould he back th ere soon. But P aul assu res us th at he has no in ten tio n of leav ing, and his can d id acy p re tty much backs it up. So, I guess if h e’s going to be around aw hile, w’e m ight as well pay our d o cto r bill . . . th o u g h t m aybe we could o u tla s t him. rmhings-flartor filo!
