Miss N ew ton has been s u p e r visor of th e S o u th e rn O regon branch office of th e Boys anil G irls Aid Society in M edford for th e past y e a r and will continue her w ork w ith th e society in P o rtlan d Mr. S tev en s is a w ell- know n civil engineer, associated w ith S te v en s and Thom pson, e n gine rs, and Leopold and S tevens, m a n u fa c tu re rs of engineering in stru m e n ts. He has gained national recognition for his engineering w ork and is a past president of the A m erican Society of Civil E n gineers.
