Some exhibited by Mrs. M arshall Dana and M rs. O tto T u rle y were a rtis tic and of novel interest. O thers in this e xh ib it were w e ll w o rth the m en tion. Two* innovations this year the p la n te r boxes and the entries of paintings w ith com plem entary flo ra l arrangem ents re a lly re ceived kudos from the judges. As one o f the judges said, "T he p la n te r boxes re a lly made the show ." The judges w ere also es pecially co m p lim e n ta ry of the niches used at the fro n t of the hall. These contained arrange m ents by the presidents of the Azalea Garden Club, one of w hich was awarded the sweepstakes, th a t of M rs. C harles Grayshel be ing an a rtis tic arrangem ent of d r ift wood, seaweed com bined w ith rhododendrons. LARGEST CORONATION EXHIBIT IN U. S. To quote one o f the judges, Mrs. Edie S m ith, " I t is always so nice ju d g in g this flo w e r show at Brookings, when we finish looking down we can look up w ith great in terest and pleasure."
