HARBOR NEWS Bob H o p e R eceives S nickers A w a r d Sgt. Curtis Chapman and Pfc. Beverly Wilson have arrived home after receiving their discharge from the army after several months’ front line service in Ko rea. Mr. and Mrs. Chapman drove south to meet their son when his ship arrived at its California port. Mrs. Helen Arlandson and three children spent a few days in Coos Bay and Portland last week. They were accompanied on the trip to Portland from Coos Bay by Mrs. Betty Bock, the former Betty Benson of Harbor, who is now a resident of Coos Bay. George Foster left on Tuesday for induction into the army, his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wallace, taking him fo Coos Bay for his date with Uncle Sam.
