In 1907, she received h er d eg ree in education at th e Uni- v* rsity of M innesota, th en cam e w est to W ashington and tau g h t u ntil h er re tire m e n t in 1940. On M ay 30. 1941, she m arried Dr. Ja m e s E. S tevenson, who survives. T he S tevensons m oved to B rook ings in 1945, w h e re th ey have lived since. Mrs. S tevenson w as very activ e in ch u rch w ork, having ta u g h t th e ad u lt S u n d ay school class a t th e C om m unity ch u rch for som e tim e.
