O R E G O N STORMS LASH LOCALITY Tickets Out For Fireman's Ball Christmas Night The annual ball given by the firemen to raise funds for the yearly C hristm as tree and tre a ts for children will be held this year a t the V.F.W. hall on C hristm as night. This com m unity service has been sponsored for m any years by the V olunteer Firem en and a huge C hristm as tree is erected each year on the strip before the en tran ce to the C entral building. . S a n ta arrives at th a t location early on his C hristm as round and dispenses candy to all children gathered to m eet him on a cer tain night. The firem en m ake th eir truck available for his use while he gives his reindeer a rest during his visit in Brookings that night. Singing by choral groups also will be. p art of the evening’s C hristm as celebration. Donations are accepted tow ard the tre a t fund by the boys at any time. The date S anta will arrive will be published next week.
