A car load of Girl Scouts from Mariposa county, Ariz., visited the ocal cheese factory this week. Mr. and Mrs. Colin Moffatt and daughter and Mrs. Foster ot Oakland, Calif., have been at the Frank Pook home for a few days, They left Sunday for a visit to Crater Lake and Bend, Ore., on their way home. Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Alexander of Tacoma. Wash., are guests at the R. R. Zimmerman home. They are Mrs. Zimmerman's aunt and uncle. Mrs. Gordon Chapman and children, Clarke, Judy and Craig, of Phoenix, Ai“z., arrived at the Walter Slocum home Thursday for a two weeks’ visit with her uncles Walter and Clarke Slo cum and family. MH. and Mrs. Ralph Sweet were in Ashland and Klamath Falls for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Rooke and family of Portland arrived af I he Frank Pook home Saturday for a two weeks’ visit. Mr. and Mrs. Jensen were in Coos Bay this week. Mr. Jensen had a check-up and finds some improvement in the condition of his back. He will have to take life easy for some time to avoid more trouble. At the raguler session of the Sixes Grange plans for the queen's dance were discussed and final arrangements made. A large group was in attendance and a very pleasant afternoon was enjoyed by all. A quiz on baby care and characteristics was won by Mrs. Bob Zimmerman with con solation prize going to Mrs. Tiny Strain.
