True artists, Mr. and Mrs. Young do their own leather work. Mrs. Young designs the patterns and styles and Mr. Young does the carving, which he genuinely an- joys doing, particuarly the scenic designs. Taught by A Stohlman of San Bernardino, rated as the outstanding carver in the west, Mr. Young’s work is on a par with b.s teacher’s and is also rensidered one of the best.
